Ulster University is Northern Ireland's regional university with four local campuses, in Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Derry (Magee college). There are also two other branch campuses, in London and Birmingham to deliver courses. University of Ulster is a multi-campus public university located in Northern Ireland. It is often referred to informally and unofficially as Ulster, or by the abbreviation UU. It is the largest university in Northern Ireland and the second-largest university on the island of Ireland, after the federal National University of Ireland. Over 90% of Ulster graduates are in work or further study six months after graduation, and more than 4,000 students have successfully completed eLearning courses at Ulster University. The Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 rankings classified Ulster as a leading modern University and in the top 100 globally.The University of Ulster place a strong focus on employability, with many courses receiving professional accreditation and including work placements. Post study work visa

The UK government has announced a new two-year post-study work visa, expanding opportunities for talented international students to build successful careers in the UK.

The new ‘Graduate’ route is open to all international students – including those from India – who have valid UK immigration status as a student and have successfully completed a course of study in any subject at undergraduate or postgraduate level at an approved UK Higher Education Provider or university. The visa will allow eligible students to work, or look for work, in any career or position of their choice, for two years after completing their studies anywhere in the UK.

This builds on UK government action to help recruit and retain the best and brightest global talent, as well as opening up opportunities for future breakthroughs in science, technology and research and other world-leading work that international talent brings to the UK.

After the two years Graduate visa, students will be able to switch onto the skilled work visa if they find a job which meets the skill requirement of the route.
