- The GREAT Scholarship offers scholarships from UK universities, across a variety of subjects for students from 18 countries.
- Each scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year taught postgraduate course.
- Each scholarship is jointly funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council with participating UK higher education institutions.

Eligibility Criteria : Students wishing to study in UK, with the help of GREAT Scholarship, must fulfill the following criteria:
- Citizens and present residents of India, completed UG degree in your home country.
- Dedicated and academically excellent to pursue a master's/postgraduate (taught) program in the UK.
- Fulfill English language requirement of the interested UK university via IELTS or equivalent test score.
- Chosen postgraduate program must begin in September 2024.
- Applicants must be excited to explore the UK higher education experience, and willing to actively engage in extra-curricular activities.

Each university has different course criteria for the scholarship, some institutions have no restrictions on what you study, while others will target postgraduates in particular disciplines.
Before applying for the scholarship, it is significant for the students to obtain admission at their chosen (and eligible) UK university. On receiving the confirmation of admission, they must complete GREAT UK Scholarship on the university’s website itself.
The following is a list of institutions eligible under the GREAT UK Scholarships :
Queens University Belfast: Law LLM Criminology and Criminal Justice, LLM International Commercial and Business Law, LLM International Human Rights Law, LLM Intellectual Property Law, LLM Law, LLM Law and Technology, AND GBP 6000 University Scholarships
UEA: Students can apply for courses in a range of science and technology-related subjects, including artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering and psychology
Anglia Ruskin: Courses in Business, Art & Design, Education, Computing Science and AI
Aston: Accounting, AI, Business Analytics, Business Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, data Science, Economics, Law, Mechanical Engineering
Sheffield Hallam: Law
University College London: One for Indian students
Bath: One x Gbp10,000 GREAT Scholarships are available for courses across the Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and School of Management
Kent: One x Gbp10,000 GREAT Scholarship
